PHILLY GIVES RESPONDS TO SNAP CRISIS THROUGH REGIONAL FOOD FUND PARTNERSHIP

As families across Greater Philadelphia face an unprecedented food insecurity crisis,
Philly Gives stands ready to help.

We are joining forces with the Philadelphia Foundation, William Penn Foundation, and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey to ensure no neighbor goes hungry. Donations made through Philly Gives will directly support trusted hunger-relief organizations like Philabundance and SHARE Food Program, as well as local nonprofits providing wraparound support including access to housing, healthcare, workforce programs, and emergency assistance that help families achieve long-term stability.
Every dollar raised stays local and helps strengthen the safety net for our region’s most
vulnerable communities.

This year’s campaign mobilizes private giving to support high-impact, high-capacity nonprofits that are lifelines for vulnerable communities across Greater Philadelphia.

These organizations have the scale to serve thousands and the trust and infrastructure to make every dollar count. Nonprofits receive 100% of donations with administrative costs fully covered by the William Penn Foundation. Our goal is clear: protect dignity, preserve opportunity, and invest in stability for all. Together, we can strengthen the nonprofits that strengthen our communities.
